What is a Holography?

HolographyHolography is a technique that allows the light scattered from an object to be recorded and later reconstructed so that it appears as if the object is in the same position relative to the recording medium as it was when recorded. The image changes as the position and orientation of the viewing system changes in exactly the same way as if the object were still present, thus making the recorded image (hologram) appear three dimensional.

The technique of holography can also be used to optically store, retrieve, and process information. While holography is commonly used to display static 3-D pictures, it is not yet possible to generate arbitrary scenes by a holographic volumetric display.

Be it serialization through inkjet / laser demetallized / UV numbers & codes or multi-colour foils to match the colours of your packaging or over printing or thermal printing; we have every tool to fully customize a solution for you & help you stay miles ahead of counterfeiters.

Holograms are now available in a variety of Colours. These can be matched to corporate colours or for the Hologram blend in with the packaging on which it is affixed. A higher security option is to use dual or tri-colour foils. For example; silver can be combined with green or red can be combined with green & blue. For this purpose standard colours are available or customized colours can also be generated.

 

Uniqueness of Hologram 

Hologram is the “Interference Pattern” on the glass with a photosensitive layer on its surface created by interaction of two coherent light beams( reference beam and object beam ) from a laser.

Uniqueness is inherent in the process of holographic recording ( Master recording ) as each time the recording is done, there will be different “Interference Pattern” making it unique. Hence it is not possible to make an exact replica of a hologram making it virtually impossible to replicate.
